Independence Day. A day to get together with family and friends, have fun food and watch fireworks. I’ve always loved this holiday and have fond memories. To me it’s the perfect summer holiday. To gather outdoors hang out by the pool lake or ocean, just enjoy the day. How do you celebrate your Fourth of July?
It has been a while since I’ve posted. The last time I posted we were moving in to our new apartment! We completed the move and have just been working on getting settled in. The wheels are still turning on how to better organize my space and that will be a work in progress for awhile. Summer is in full swing now as well which Is a fun time to be in a new place. I also have ideas in mind for our front porch and how to make it really nice. I love to read home blogs on decorating and gardening just to get inspiration. What will be your summer project this season? Would love to hear back from you.
Moving weekend is here finally! It’s been a long and much anticipated day.
I couldn’t think of a better month to move in the first weekend of Spring, just get all that spring cleaning done at the same time. Out with the old, in with the new I say! My inner interior decorator is kicking her heels up in childlike glee of the thought of decorating a new space and new projects brewing 🙂 This is one of my favorite zones of life to be in. The rebuilding/starting over in a new place. Breathes new life into the old bones of monotony and being too comfortable. I love it! More to come in the near future of our new place.
“Spring has returned. The Earth is like a child that knows poems.” — Rainer Maria Rilke
A new season is upon us. We can bid adieu to the long, cold harsh winter. It’s time to open the curtains and breathe in the fresh Spring air and all the new opportunities it brings with it. For me, it is invigorating. I love the change of seasons. It is like the cobwebs get dusted out and my mind starts turning with spring cleaning ideas and redecorating and everything that comes with it! So, for starters I dusted off my old dusty blog that has been neglected and gave it a face-lift and I am excited to begin posting new content! My goal for this blog is still the same to hopefully post fresh, relevant content that readers like to see. That will cover things like home decorating projects, cooking, food, fashion and beauty things, posts about books I’m reading. Essentially just things that personally make my life beautiful and enjoyable. I do hope you will enjoy them as well!
Happy Spring to You!

(If you are not familiar with the inductive Bible study method, click here for a free download that will get you started.) I always tell my students that the point of marking the text (the Bible) is not to create a pretty picture; the point is to engage you with the text, to help you slow down and read with purpose, and to dig out the truth for yourself. You can use different colors to mark different words, but it won’t be long before you will simply run out of colors in your box of pencils. And with so many colors, recognizing the color code at a glance may be difficult. Another way to use the tool of marking key words is to use colors and symbols. You…
