We can not even begin to express how much we love Pams & Kin – the brand + the girls behind it. Summer Reading is essential for children.
Reading experts note that most young readers suffer a backslide in reading skills during summer downtime. But that doesn’t need to be the case. Families can make reading a priority during the summer months and children will learn that people never take a vacation from learning.
Your school-aged child’s summer reading and book discussions will help them maintain reading skills, improve reading fluency, and learn new vocabulary and concepts. Most importantly, when parents and children enjoy summer reading together, children develop a love of books and reading that lasts a lifetime.
